popped out from behind a tree.

as Sid's scare echoed off the shop windows.

Ben lurched to catch her but forgot he was holding the pizza box

Uncle Bert had somehow managed to catch Mrs. Hubbletree

before she hit the ground.

" Is she okay?" Sid cried." It's all my fault!"

After a few moments, her eyes fluttered open

Uncle Bert stopped and dropped his head into his hands
