The elephant and the raptor stared at the lion

" Sun Wukong is alive inside you," said the raptor

“孙悟空还活在你肚子里，”大鹏说。

" Aren't you worried?"

“你不担心吗？”

The lion sat down on his throne

狮子坐在他的宝座上。

" Worried about what?"

“担心什么？”

" Well," said the raptor," the monkey is talking inside you."

“那个，”大鹏说，“那只猴子在你肚子里说话呢。”

" Doesn't that bother you?"

“那不困扰你吗？”

" Let him talk," said the lion defiantly

“让他说去，”狮子不以为然地说。

" It doesn't bother me at all."

“一点也不困扰我。”

" What shall I talk about?" Wukong called

“那我说点什么好呢？”悟空叫道。

" Who wants to hear a story?"

“谁想听故事？”

The elephant shook his head slowly

大象慢慢地摇了摇头。

" What if the monkey never stops talking?"

“要是猴子一直说个不停怎么办？”

" You'll never get any sleep."

“你就别想睡觉了。”

旁白 neutral

" Hmm," said the lion

“嗯，”狮子说。

旁白 neutral

" That would be bad."

“那可不妙。”

旁白 neutral

He thought for a moment

他想了想。

" I know what to do."

“我知道该怎么办了。”

" I'll stop eating."

“我不吃东西了。”

" What will that do?" asked the elephant

“那有什么用？”大象问。

旁白 neutral

" Yes," said Wukong." What will that do?"

“对呀，”悟空说。“那有什么用？”

" If I don't eat, Wukong doesn't eat," said the lion

“如果我不吃东西，悟空也吃不到东西，”狮子说。

" I'll make him starve."

“我要饿死他。”

旁白 neutral

Wukong laughed

悟空大笑。

" Nice try, lion."

“想得美，狮子。”

旁白 neutral

" But I'll just turn one of my hairs into a stove."

“我只要把一根毫毛变成炉子就行了。”

" I'll cook a nice meal in here."

“我在这里面做顿好饭。”

旁白 neutral

" Oh, dear."

“天哪。”

The raptor shook his head

大鹏摇了摇头。

" If that monkey fires up a stove, it will make you very hot."

“如果那只猴子生起火来，你会非常热。”

" Plus, it will create lots of smoke."

“而且会产生大量的烟。”

" The smoke will fill your head, and you'll never stop sneezing."

“烟会充满你的脑袋，你会不停地打喷嚏。”

At last, the lion was starting to look nervous

" That would be terrible," he said

“那可太糟糕了，”他说。

" I'd better cough out Wukong."

“我最好把悟空咳出来。”

The lion went to the middle of the room

狮子走到房间中央。

He bent over and coughed

他弯下腰咳了起来。

Wukong laughed

悟空大笑。

" I'm still in here."

“我还在里面呢。”

The lion coughed again

狮子又咳了一次。

But still, Wukong stayed inside him

但悟空仍然待在他肚子里。

" I'm going to practice my fighting skills," announced the monkey

“我要练练拳脚了，”猴子宣布。

Wukong punched and kicked inside the lion

悟空在狮子肚子里又打又踢。

The lion fell to his knees

狮子跪倒在地。

" No!" he moaned

“不要！”他呻吟着说。

旁白 neutral

" It hurts. It hurts."

“好疼。好疼。”

旁白 neutral

" Wukong, please stop."

“悟空，求你住手。”

旁白 neutral

" Let's make a deal," said Wukong

“我们做个交易吧，”悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" I'll come out if you promise to let us cross the mountain safely."

“如果你们答应让我们安全过山，我就出来。”

旁白 neutral

The lion looked up at the raptor and the elephant

狮子抬头看了看大鹏和大象。

旁白 neutral

They both nodded

他们俩都点了点头。

旁白 neutral

" We promise," the lion moaned again

“我们答应，”狮子又呻吟道。

旁白 neutral

" Okay, then," said Wukong

“好吧，”悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" I'm coming out."

“我出来了。”

旁白 neutral

Wukong started the climb up the lion's throat

悟空开始沿着狮子的喉咙往上爬。

Just as he reached the lion's mouth, Wukong heard whispering

就在他到达狮子嘴巴的时候，悟空听到了窃窃私语。

" Lion, I have a plan," whispered the elephant

“狮子，我有个办法，”大象低声说。

旁白 neutral

" When Wukong tries to come out of your mouth, bite him."

“等悟空从你嘴里出来的时候，咬住他。”

旁白 neutral

" I don't know," whispered the lion

“我不确定行不行，”狮子低声说。

旁白 neutral

" Wukong is very strong."

“悟空非常强。”

旁白 neutral

" My belly still hurts."

“我肚子还疼呢。”

旁白 neutral

" Chop him quickly before he can fight back," whispered the elephant

“趁他来不及反抗赶快咬断他，”大象低声说。

旁白 neutral

" Okay," said the lion

“好吧，”狮子说。

旁白 neutral

" Those dumb demons," thought Wukong

“这些蠢妖怪，”悟空心想。

旁白 neutral

" Don't they realize I can hear them?"

“他们不知道我听得见吗？”

旁白 neutral

He pulled out his iron bar

他拿出了铁棍。

旁白 neutral

" Shall I come out now?" asked the monkey

“我现在出来好吗？”猴子问。

旁白 neutral

" Um, yes," said the lion

“嗯，好的，”狮子说。

旁白 neutral

Wukong heard the three demons snickering

悟空听到三个妖怪在偷笑。

旁白 neutral

" Okay," said Wukong

“好吧，”悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" I'm coming out."

“我出来了。”

旁白 neutral

He held out the iron bar

他伸出铁棍。

旁白 neutral

The lion bit down hard on the bar

狮子狠狠地咬住了铁棍。

Crack!

咔嚓！

旁白 neutral

A tooth shattered into tiny pieces

一颗牙齿碎成了小块。

" Ow! Ow! Ow!"

“哎哟！哎哟！哎哟！”

The lion howled in pain

狮子痛得嗷嗷直叫。

Tears streamed down his face

泪水顺着他的脸流下来。

He rolled around on the floor, holding his paws over his mouth

他在地上打滚，用爪子捂着嘴。

" You villains!" Wukong shouted

“你们这些恶贼！”悟空喊道。

旁白 neutral

" I heard you whispering!"

“我听到你们说悄悄话了！”

旁白 neutral

" I'm sorry!" the lion was still crying

“对不起！”狮子还在哭。

旁白 neutral

" I won't try to bite you again!"

“我不会再咬你了！”

旁白 neutral

" Please don't hurt me anymore!"

“求你别再打我了！”

旁白 neutral

Wukong hesitated

悟空犹豫了一下。

旁白 neutral

" I'm coming out now."

“我现在出来了。”

旁白 neutral

" You'd better not try any more tricks."

“你们最好别再耍花招。”

" We won't," said the elephant

“不会了，”大象说。

旁白 neutral

" We promise," said the raptor

“我们保证，”大鹏说。

旁白 neutral

Wukong popped out of the lion's nose

悟空从狮子的鼻子里蹦了出来。

He glared at the demons for a moment, and then walked out of the cave

他瞪了妖怪们一会儿，然后走出了洞穴。

As soon as the monkey was gone, the elephant turned to the other two demons

猴子一走，大象就转向另外两个妖怪。

" I have a new plan for capturing the Tang Monk."

“我有一个抓唐僧的新计划。”
