The door flew open, and Yellowbrows stepped out

He went back inside and came back a moment later

He was holding a heavy wooden club

Wukong pulled out his iron bar as the demon rushed toward him

As he fought the demon, Wukong took small steps backward

The demon ran after Wukong

The monkey ran through some woods and into a melon field

猴子跑过一片树林，跑进了一块瓜田。

Yellowbrows chased him

黄眉追了上去。

" Where are you, Wukong?" he shouted

“你在哪里，悟空？”他喊道。

Then, the demon noticed all the melons

然后，妖怪注意到了所有的瓜。

He licked his lips

" These melons look delicious," he said to himself

A farmer was working nearby

The farmer searched the ground

Finally, he held up a ripe melon

Yellowbrows lifted the melon to take a bite

Suddenly, the melon shrank to the size of a berry

The demon fell to his knees

Then he noticed the farmer was gone

Instead, Maitreya stood over him

Maitreya glared at the demon

" Give me my magic cloth."

Yellowbrows pulled the cloth from his robe and handed it to Maitreya

黄眉从袍子里拿出魔布，交给了弥勒佛。

" You may come out now, Wukong," said Maitreya

“你可以出来了，悟空，”弥勒佛说。

A tiny Wukong leaped from the demon's nose

一个小小的悟空从妖怪的鼻子里跳了出来。

Maitreya threw the cloth at Yellowbrows

弥勒佛把布扔向黄眉。

It wrapped around the demon and became small

布包住了妖怪，变小了。

Maitreya put the bundle into a pocket

弥勒佛把包裹放进了口袋。

Wukong returned to his normal size

悟空恢复了正常大小。

He and Maitreya went to the monastery

他和弥勒佛去了寺院。

Maitreya recited a spell and the symbols repaired themselves

弥勒佛念了一段咒语，钒钹自行修复了。

He smiled at Wukong

他对悟空笑了笑。

" Good luck."

Then he vanished

然后他消失了。

Wukong untied his companions and the other spirits

The dragon, the turtle, and the serpent thanked the monkey and flew away

" I'm sorry for not believing you when you warned us about this place."

The travelers went outside and continued west
