" The Tang Monk is in trouble," said the pig to the fake Guanyin

“唐僧有麻烦了，”八戒对假观音说。

" A demon named Red Boy is planning to eat him."

“一个叫红孩儿的妖怪要吃他。”

" Can you help us?"

“你能帮帮我们吗？”

旁白 neutral

" Of course," said the fake Guanyin

“当然可以，”假观音说。

旁白 neutral

" I know Red Boy. He's very nice."

“我认识红孩儿。他很乖的。”

旁白 neutral

" I doubt he'll harm the Tang Monk."

“我不觉得他会伤害唐僧。”

旁白 neutral

" Let's go to Red Boy's cave and talk to him."

“我们去红孩儿的洞里跟他谈谈吧。”

Bajie and the fake Guanyin flew to Red Boy's cave

八戒和假观音飞到了红孩儿的洞口。

Bajie went in first

八戒先走了进去。

Red Boy returned to his normal appearance and then sneaked up behind Bajie

红孩儿恢复了原形，惄惄绕到八戒身后。

He threw a sack over the pig

他把一个麻袋套在了八戒头上。

" Hey, what's going on?" shouted Bajie

“嘿，怎么回事？”八戒喊道。

" I'm not Guanyin, you fool!" the demon laughed

“我不是观音，你这个傻瓜！”妖怪笑道。

" I'm Red Boy!"

“我是红孩儿！”

旁白 neutral

" And now you're trapped!"

“现在你被抓住了！”

旁白 neutral

The demon locked Bajie in a room

妖怪把八戒锁在了一个房间里。

" Why isn't Bajie back yet?" asked Wujing

“八戒怎么还没回来？”沙僧问。

旁白 neutral

Wukong frowned

悟空皱了皱眉。

" He probably stopped to take a nap."

“他可能停下来睡觉了。”

" That pig is so lazy."

“那只猪太懒了。”

旁白 neutral

" Yes, he's very lazy."

“是的，他非常懒。”

" What should we do now?"

“我们现在怎么办？”

" I'm going to sneak into Red Boy's cave," said Wukong

“我要潜入红孩儿的洞里，”悟空说。

" I want to make sure the Tang Monk is still alive."

“我要确认唐僧还活着。”

" Then I'll go to Guanyin myself."

“然后我亲自去找观音。”

The monkey turned himself into a bee and flew up the mountain

猴子变成一只蜂蜂，飞上了山。

He slipped through the cave door and flew down a long tunnel

他从洞门的缝隙钻进去，沿着一条长长的隧道飞行。

Soon he heard the Tang Monk crying

很快他听到了唐僧的哭声。

" Master is scared," thought Wukong

“师父很害怕，”悟空想。

" But at least he's still alive."

“但至少他还活着。”

The monkey then heard a shout

猴子接着听到一声大喊。

It was Bajie

是八戒。

" You filthy demon! How dare you make yourself look like Guanyin and fool me!"

“你这个可恶的妖怪！你竟敢变成观音的样子来骗我！”

" Aha!" thought Wukong

“啊哈！”悟空想。

旁白 neutral

" Bajie didn't take a nap after all."

“八戒并没有去睡觉。”

旁白 neutral

" I must go to the real Guanyin right away."

“我必须立刻去找真正的观音。”

The monkey flew out of the cave and told Wujing what he'd just learned

猴子飞出洞口，把刚才知道的事情告诉了沙僧。

Then he jumped onto a cloud and headed south

然后他跳上云头，向南方飞去。

He found Guanyin in her pagoda

他在宝塔里找到了观音。

" Wukong, why are you here?" asked Guanyin

“悟空，你为什么来了？”观音问。

" We have a problem, Bodhisattva," said the monkey

“我们遇到麻烦了，菩萨，”猴子说。

" The Tang Monk was caught by a demon named Red Boy."

“唐僧被一个叫红孩儿的妖怪抓了。”

旁白 neutral

" The demon makes magic fire that water can't put out."

“那个妖怪会放魔火，水浇不灭。”

旁白 neutral

" Bajie was on his way here to ask for your help."

“八戒本来要来找您帮忙的。”

旁白 neutral

" But the demon made himself look like you and tricked the pig!"

“但妖怪变成了您的样子，骗了八戒！”

旁白 neutral

Guanyin's face burned with anger

观音气得满脸通红。

" How dare that demon make himself look like me!"

“那个妖怪竟敢变成我的样子！”

旁白 neutral

The Bodhisattva grabbed a vase and stormed outside

菩萨拿起一个花瓶，气冲冲地走出门外。

She threw the vase down into the ocean where it sank beneath the waves

她把花瓶扔进大海，花瓶沉入波浪之下。

Wukong gasped

悟空吃了一惊。

" That vase was a Buddhist treasure!"

“那个花瓶是佛家的宝物啊！”

旁白 neutral

" Why did you throw it away?"

“您为什么把它扔掉了？”

Guanyin didn't answer

观音没有回答。

A minute later, the water rumbled

一分钟后，海水隆隆作响。

The vase reappeared

花瓶重新出现了。

It was atop the shell of a giant turtle

它在一只巨龟的背上。

The turtle came onto the shore and bowed its head

巨龟游到岸边，低下了头。

" Go down and get the vase, Wukong," said Guanyin

“下去把花瓶拿上来，悟空，”观音说。

The monkey ran down the mountain and tried to pick up the vase

猴子跑下山去，试图拿起花瓶。

旁白 neutral

Wukong grunted and used all of his strength

悟空哼哧一声，用尽全力。

旁白 neutral

But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't lift the vase at all

但不管他怎么努力，就是抬不动花瓶。

" Bodhisattva!" he called

“菩萨！”他喊道。

旁白 neutral

" I don't understand. It's just a small vase, but I can't lift it."

“我不明白。这只是一个小花瓶，但我抬不动它。”

Guanyin came down the mountain

观音走下山来。

" That vase just traveled around the world, through all the oceans and rivers."

“那个花瓶刚刚绕世界一周，经过了所有的海洋和河流。”

" It now holds an ocean's worth of water."

“现在里面装了一整片海洋的水。”

" Magic water."

“神奇的水。”

" The water will put out Red Boy's fire."

“这水能灭掉红孩儿的火。”

Guanyin picked up the vase with one hand

观音一只手拿起了花瓶。

She held up her other hand, and several swords appeared

她举起另一只手，几把剑出现了。

She waved them, and they turned into a large lotus platform

她挥了挥手，剑变成了一个大莲花台。

" I have what I need now," said Guanyin

“我需要的东西都准备好了，”观音说。

" Let's go."
