Wukong and Guan Yin stood on the lotus platform above Red Boy's mountain

悟空和观音站在红孩儿山上方的莲台上。

" Let's attack Red Boy now," said the monkey

“我们现在就去打红孩儿吧，”猴子说。

" Wait, Wukong," said Guan Yin, holding up a hand

“等一下，悟空，”观音举起手说。

" There's a lot of water in this vase, enough for an ocean."

“这个瓶子里有很多水，足以汇成一片海洋。”

" I don't want any animals harmed when I pour it out."

“我不想在倒水的时候伤到任何动物。”

She recited a quick spell

她念了一个咒语。

A moment later, the local spirit arrived

片刻之后，土地神来了。

" Bodhisattva," said the spirit

“菩萨，”土地神说。

" What can I do for you?"

“有什么我能效劳的？”

" I'm going to pour magic water around Red Boy's mountain," said Guan Yin

“我要在红孩儿的山周围倒上法水，”观音说。

" Please make sure all the animals are far, far away from the mountain."

“请确保所有动物都远远地离开这座山。”

" Yes, Bodhisattva," said the spirit

“是，菩萨，”土地神说。

The spirit flew down to earth

土地神飞下了凡间。

Wukong watched the ground below

悟空注视着下方的地面。

First he saw some small animals scurry out from under bushes

他先看到一些小动物从灌木丛下跑了出来。

Birds flew from branches

鸟儿从树枝上飞走了。

Then tigers, bears, and other large animals stampeded down the mountainside

接着老虎、熊和其他大型动物从山坡上奔涌而下。

Soon there wasn't a single animal anywhere near the mountain

很快山附近一只动物都没有了。

" Now I can pour the water out," said Guan Yin

“现在我可以倒水了，”观音说。

She tipped the vase, and rolling waves of water poured out

她倾斜瓶子，滚滚的水浪涌了出来。

The waves washed down the slopes of the mountain

波浪冲刷着山坡。

The water level rose higher and higher, forming an ocean

水位越来越高，形成了一片海洋。

Only the top of the mountain was above water

只有山顶还露在水面之上。

" Wukong, go down there and get the demon to come out," said Guan Yin

“悟空，下去把妖怪引出来，”观音说。

" Fight him, but don't defeat him."

“跟他打，但不要打败他。”

旁白 neutral

" Instead, lead him up here to me."

“把他引到我这里来。”

旁白 neutral

Wukong jumped down to the mountain

悟空跳下了山。

He pulled out his iron bar and swung it

他拿出金箍棒挥了过去。

Smash!

砰！

The door to the cave exploded

洞门炸开了。

Red Boy ran out of the cave, looking furious

红孩儿怒气冲冲地跑出了山洞。

" You smashed my front door!" he shouted

“你砸了我的大门！”他喊道。

旁白 neutral

" That's right," said the monkey

“没错，”猴子说。

旁白 neutral

" And I'll smash you if you don't release my friends."

“你要是不放了我的朋友，我就砸了你。”

旁白 neutral

Red Boy laughed and then punched himself in the nose

红孩儿笑了笑，然后用拳头捶了一下自己的鼻子。

Nothing happened

什么都没发生。

" Why didn't my fire magic work?" asked the demon

“为什么我的火法术不管用了？”妖怪问道。

Then he noticed the ocean surrounding his mountain

然后他注意到了环绕着他山的海洋。

Wukong laughed

悟空笑了。

旁白 neutral

" That is magic water, brought here by the Bodhisattva Guan Yin."

“那是法水，是观音菩萨带来的。”

" You can't make fire anywhere near it."

“你在附近根本放不了火。”

旁白 neutral

Red Boy stabbed at Wukong with his lance

红孩儿用长枪刺向悟空。

Clang!

铛！

旁白 neutral

The monkey blocked the lance with his iron bar

猴子用金箍棒挡住了长枪。

旁白 neutral

Red Boy grunted and stabbed again

红孩儿哼了一声又刺了过来。

旁白 neutral

Wukong swung his iron bar, nearly knocking the lance from Red Boy's hands

悟空挥动金箍棒，差点把长枪从红孩儿手中打落。

The two fought until Wukong, pretending to be scared, leaped into the air

两人一直打到悟空假装害怕，跳到了空中。

Red Boy followed

红孩儿紧随其后。

旁白 neutral

Up into the sky they flew

他们飞上了天空。

Red Boy kept jabbing his lance at Wukong

红孩儿不停地用长枪刺悟空。

The monkey blocked it with his iron bar

猴子用金箍棒挡住了。

Wukong hurried toward Guan Yin on the lotus platform

悟空急忙向莲台上的观音飞去。

He flew fast and ducked behind her

他飞得很快，躲到了她身后。

When Red Boy saw the Bodhisattva, he stopped

红孩儿看到菩萨时，停了下来。

" What are you doing here, Bodhisattva?" he demanded

“菩萨，你在这里做什么？”他质问道。

旁白 neutral

Guan Yin stared back at the demon, but she didn't say a word

观音盯着妖怪，但一个字也没说。

旁白 neutral

" I asked why you're here!" shouted Red Boy

“我问你为什么在这里！”红孩儿喊道。

旁白 neutral

Again, Guan Yin didn't answer

观音还是没有回答。

旁白 neutral

" Did Wukong ask you to come here?" shouted the demon

“是悟空请你来的吗？”妖怪喊道。

旁白 neutral

" Why don't you speak?"

“你为什么不说话？”

旁白 neutral

Guan Yin continued to stare silently at Red Boy

观音继续沉默地盯着红孩儿。

旁白 neutral

The demon became furious

妖怪变得暴怒。

旁白 neutral

He raised his lance and shook toward Guan Yin

他举起长枪，向观音冲去。

The Bodhisattva vanished

菩萨消失了。

旁白 neutral

Red Boy laughed

红孩儿笑了。

旁白 neutral

" I guess she was scared of me."

“看来她是怕我了。”

旁白 neutral

He looked at the empty lotus platform

他看着空荡荡的莲台。

旁白 neutral

" Wukong is a fool!"

“悟空是个傻瓜！”

旁白 neutral

" He couldn't defeat my fire magic, so he asked Guan Yin for help."

“他打不过我的火法术，就去求观音帮忙。”

旁白 neutral

" And what did she do?"

“她又怎么样呢？”

旁白 neutral

" She ran away as soon as I raised my weapon."

“我一举起武器她就跑了。”

旁白 neutral

" Now this Buddha's treasure is mine!"

“现在这个佛门宝贝是我的了！”

Red Boy sat down on the platform

红孩儿坐到了莲台上。

旁白 neutral

Instantly the platform turned back into swords, which surrounded the demon

莲台瞬间变回了宝剑，围住了妖怪。

Sharp points stuck at him on all sides

锋利的剑尖从四面八方刺向他。

" Oh no!" cried Red Boy

“糟了！”红孩儿叫道。

旁白 neutral

" I'm trapped!"

“我被困住了！”
