Wukong stared at the mountains

" A red cloud keeps appearing over those mountains," he said

" There must be a demon ahead."

“前方一定有妖怪。”

" The road leads right into those mountains," said the Tang monk nervously

“路正好通往那些山，”唐僧紧张地说。

Wukong nodded

悟空点了点头。

" We must be careful."

“我们必须小心。”

He pulled out his iron bar and held it up

他抽出铁棒举在手中。

Wujing held up his spear, and Bajie held up his rake

沙僧举起了长枪，八戒举起了钗耙。

The group walked cautiously

A red demon sat on a mountain peak, watching the travelers approach

" The Tang monk has finally arrived in my mountain," the demon said to himself

" I've heard that eating just one bite of him will make me live forever."

The demon looked at the travelers again

妖怪又看了看旅人们。

" The monk's companions have their weapons out."

“僧人的同伴们都拿出了武器。”

" They probably saw my red cloud."

" I'll have to trick them with a disguise."

“我得变个模样骗他们。”

The demon made himself look like a scared little boy

Then he went down to the road, sat alongside it, and waited

Soon the travelers approached

The Tang monk saw the boy and got down from his horse

" Master, that's a demon," warned Wukong

The Tang monk scowled at the monkey

" He's just a scared little boy."

He turned back to the boy

他转身面向男孩。

" What's wrong?"

“怎么了？”

" My family was attacked by robbers," said the boy

“我家被强盗袭击了，”男孩说。

" Please help me."

“请帮帮我。”

旁白 neutral

" I know what you are," shouted Wukong

“我知道你是什么，”悟空喊道。

" You're a demon."

“你是妖怪。”

旁白 neutral

" I won't let you eat the Tang monk."

“我不会让你吃掉唐僧的。”

旁白 neutral

The boy looked horrified

男孩一脸惊恐。

" Wukong!" snapped the Tang monk

“悟空！”唐僧厉声说道。

旁白 neutral

" You're scaring him."

“你吓到他了。”

旁白 neutral

" Master, you're being a fool again," cried the monkey

“师父，你又糊涂了，”猴子喊道。

旁白 neutral

" You always fall for demon's tricks, and you never believe me."

“你总是上妖怪的当，从来不信我。”

旁白 neutral

" Be quiet, Wukong," said the Tang monk

“安静，悟空，”唐僧说。

旁白 neutral

" Or I'll recite the tight headband spell."

“否则我就念紧箍咒。”

旁白 neutral

Wukong glared angrily at the boy

悟空愤怒地瞪着男孩。

旁白 neutral

But he didn't say another word

但他没再说一句话。

The Tang monk helped the boy to stand up

唐僧扶男孩站起来。

" Can you walk?" asked the monk

“你能走路吗？”僧人问道。

旁白 neutral

The boy shook his head

男孩摇了摇头。

" My leg is injured."

“我的腿受伤了。”

旁白 neutral

The Tang monk waved Wukong over

唐僧招呼悟空过来。

旁白 neutral

" Please carry the boy."

“请背上这个男孩。”

旁白 neutral

" And don't be mean to him."

“而且不要对他凶。”

旁白 neutral

The group continued west, with Wukong carrying the boy on his back

一行人继续向西走，悟空背着男孩。

The monkey walked slowly, and soon his companions were far ahead

" You tricked the Tang monk," said Wukong to the boy

" But you haven't tricked me."

" I know you're a demon."

" I don't know what you're talking about," said the boy

“我不知道你在说什么，”男孩说。

A powerful wind blew, uprooting trees and almost knocking over Wukong

一阵狂风吹来，拔起了树木，差点把悟空吹倒。

The monkey laughed

猴子笑了。

旁白 neutral

" I know that you're making this wind blow."

“我知道这风是你吹的。”

旁白 neutral

" Use all the magic you want."

“你尽管用法术。”

旁白 neutral

" You won't be able to blow me away."

“你吹不走我的。”

旁白 neutral

" I once defeated Heaven's entire army."

“我曾经打败过天庭的整支天兵。”

The road now ran along the edge of a cliff

路现在沿着悬崖边缘延伸。

Wukong looked down

悟空向下望去。

" I'll throw you over the edge of this cliff," he said

“我要把你从悬崖上丢下去，”他说。

" Then I'll just tell the Tang monk you ran away."

“然后我就告诉唐僧你跑了。”

The monkey tried to grab the boy from his back

猴子试图从背上抓住男孩。

But at that moment, the boy disappeared

Wukong laughed

" He must have gotten scared."

The wind suddenly grew stronger, and dust filled the air

Wukong heard screams and rushed ahead to find his friends

" Master!" cried the monkey, trying to see through the dust

" Where are you?"

When the wind stopped, he saw Bajie and Wujing lying by the road

" That was some wind," said the pig, getting up

" It knocked us over," said Wujing

Wukong looked frantically around

" Where's master?"

" Oh no," cried Bajie

“糟了，”八戒喊道。

" That boy was a demon."

“那个男孩是妖怪。”

" He kidnapped master."

“他把师父抓走了。”

Wukong shook his head

悟空摇了摇头。

" Let's all go home."

“我们都回家吧。”

" The journey is over."
