The Taoist had vanished

道士消失了。

Wukong ran outside and shot into the air

悟空跑到外面，冲上了天空。

He looked in every direction

他向四面八方张望。

" Where did the Taoist go?" asked the monkey

“道士去哪儿了？”猴子问道。

Then he heard a shout from inside the palace

然后他听到皇宫里传来一声大喊。

" There are two Tang monks!" cried Bajie

“有两个唐僧！”八戒喊道。

Wukong flew back inside

悟空飞回了宫殿里。

Two Tang monks stood side by side

两个唐僧并排站着。

" We can't tell them apart," said Wujing

“我们分不出来，”沙僧说。

" They look exactly alike."

“他们长得一模一样。”

旁白 neutral

" Which one of you is the real Tang monk?" asked Wukong

“你们哪个是真的唐僧？”悟空问道。

" I am," said one

“我是，”一个说。

旁白 neutral

Then, the other monk glared at the first one

然后，另一个僧人瘊着第一个。

" No, I am."

“不，我才是。”

旁白 neutral

The first monk looked at Wukong

第一个僧人看着悟空。

" Don't believe him, Wukong."

“别信他，悟空。”

" I am the real Tang monk."

“我才是真正的唐僧。”

" Don't believe him," said the other monk

“别信他，”另一个僧人说。

Angry, Wukong pulled out his iron bar

悟空气愤地抽出了铁棒。

Both Tang monks fell to their knees, shaking with fear

两个唐僧都吓得跪倒在地，浑身发抖。

" Don't hit me!" they both cried

“别打我！”他们俩都喊道。

The monkey sighed

He turned to Bajie and Wujing

" What can we do?"

" I have an idea," said Bajie, smiling

“我有个主意，”八戒笑着说。

" But you won't like it."

“但你不会喜欢的。”

" What is it?" asked Wukong

“什么主意？”悟空问。

" The two Tang monks should recite the tight headband spell," said the pig

“让两个唐僧念紧箍咒，”八戒说。

" Only the Tang monk, Guanyin, and Buddha know the spell."

“只有唐僧、观音和佛祖知道这个咒语。”

" We'll know right away which Tang monk is fake."

“我们马上就能知道哪个唐僧是假的。”

旁白 neutral

" You just want to see me in pain," said Wukong

“你就是想看我受苦，”悟空说。

Then he sighed

然后他叹了口气。

" But it is a good idea."

“但这确实是个好主意。”

Bajie and Wujing stood near the monks

八戒和沙僧站在僧人旁边。

" Master, recite the tight headband spell," said Wukong

“师父，念紧箍咒吧，”悟空说。

Both monks began speaking, and Wukong fell to the floor

两个僧人都开始念咒，悟空痛得倒在地上。

" It hurts!" he cried

“好痛！”他喊道。

Bajie watched the Tang monks carefully

八戒仔细地观察着两个唐僧。

One of them was reciting the spell

But the other one wasn't

但另一个并没有。

" This is a fake Tang monk!" shouted the pig, pointing

“这个是假唐僧！”八戒指着喊道。

" He's just mumbling nonsense!"

“他只是在含糊地胡说！”

The real monk stopped reciting the spell

真正的僧人停下了咒语。

Bajie and Wujing tried to grab the fake monk

八戒和沙僧试图抓住假僧人。

But the monk changed into a green lion, and ran out of the throne room

但那个僧人变成了一头青狮，跑出了寝殿。

" Get him!" shouted Wukong

“抓住他！”悟空喊道。

He and his companions chased the lion

他和同伴们追赶那头狮子。

Outside, the lion leaped into the air

到了外面，狮子跃入空中。

Wukong and the others shot after him

悟空和其他人紧追不舍。

Clouds swirled, and soon they had the lion surrounded

云雾翻滚，很快他们就将狮子围住了。

Wukong pulled out his iron bar, and raised it to strike

悟空抽出铁棒，举起来要打。

Just then, a deep voice called out

就在这时，一个深沉的声音喊道。

" Do not hit him, Sun Wukong."

“不要打他，孙悟空。”

Everyone looked up

众人抬头望去。

" It's the Bodhisattva Manjushri," said Wukong

“是文殊菩萨，”悟空说。

" This green lion is my pet," said the Bodhisattva

“这头青狮是我的坐骑，”菩萨说。

旁白 neutral

" The king of the Black Rooster Kingdom was cruel to someone many years ago."

“乌鸡国的国王多年前曾残忍地对待过一个人。”

旁白 neutral

" So my lion came to earth to punish him."

“所以我的狮子下凡来惩罚他。”

旁白 neutral

" The king's punishment is over now."

“国王的惩罚现在结束了。”

旁白 neutral

The Bodhisattva and the lion disappeared above the clouds

菩萨和狮子消失在云端之上。

That night, the king of the Black Rooster Kingdom hosted a feast

那天晚上，乌鸡国国王设宴款待。

During the feast, he turned to the Tang monk

宴席间，他转向唐僧。

" Thank you for your help."

“谢谢你们的帮助。”

One day, Wukong saw a mysterious red cloud over the mountains ahead

一天，悟空看到前方山头上有一片神秘的红云。

" Stop walking," he said quietly

“停下来，”他轻声说。

旁白 neutral

" What's wrong?" asked the Tang monk

“怎么了？”唐僧问道。

旁白 neutral

The red cloud disappeared

红云消失了。

旁白 neutral

Wukong shook his head

悟空摇了摇头。

旁白 neutral

" Nothing, master."

“没什么，师父。”

旁白 neutral

" I thought I saw a red cloud."

“我以为我看到了一片红云。”

旁白 neutral

They walked some more

他们又走了一段路。

Wukong saw the red cloud again

悟空又看到了红云。

旁白 neutral

He held up his hand for the others to stop

他举起手让大家停下。

The red cloud disappeared once again, and Wukong started to walk again

红云再次消失，悟空又开始走路。

But then the red cloud reappeared

但然后红云又出现了。

" Stop," said the monkey

“停，”猴子说。

旁白 neutral

" Wukong, should we keep going or not?" the Tang monk groaned

“悟空，我们到底走还是不走？”唐僧抱怨道。
