Mandy noticed that some people wore shiny silk, like Jinying

Some people on the street called out to Jinying

" There it is!" Mandy suddenly caught sight of the monkey

Vinnie, meanwhile, was trying to get back to the square

He walked to the end of a street and stared

This whole city is surrounded by a wall," he said aloud

He turned and saw a bald man wearing a long robe

Next to him was a walking stick and book

" Are you hurt?" asked Vinnie

" I think I twisted my ankle

Would you mind helping me?" the man asked

He put the man's arm around his shoulder

" Where are we going?" Vinnie asked

" To the monastery, over there," said the man, pointing

On the other side of the city, Mandy and Jinying were running from the trainer

They tried to hide behind a wagon piled high with wheat

" Thieves! I see you!"

The monkey trainer had found them
