as Mog took a deep, long, breath through his nose.

Next he bared his claws and gnashed his fangs — and let

out a snarl so loud, it shook the ground.

" Whoa!" Startled, Ben yelled and dropped to the ground

hard on his end of the seesaw.

In his fright he forgot about Sid, who went flying through the air

and crashed into the garbage cans.

旁白 neutral

Sid broke into tears and then flew into the house, crying," Mommy!"

Mog sighed." I guess I can be too scary sometimes!"

" Um...," Ben said." That expression actually makes you look scarier, Mog."

" How about this?" Mog turned upside down and stood on his head

Sid was still scared

But then Mog's horns got stuck in the ground

Sid and Ben burst out laughing as they watched Mog try

to pull his horns out of the ground.

" Phew!" Mog exclaimed when he finally jumped

to his feet. "See? I'm not that scary."

" Nope!" Sid laughed." You're silly!"

After the rest of the Green Club had arrived, Ben asked

everyone to gather around.

" I want to make sure that everything goes smoothly, so I

made a map of where all the plants and stuff should go."

Ben grabbed his backpack and pulled out the map

" What the...?" He blinked in surprise

" That's weird. It looks like something was eating

my map. I can't even read it now."

" Maybe Sid forgot to eat breakfast," Mog joked

Ben checked." Nope, nothing's in there." He shrugged
