“马上交出唐僧！”八戒喊道。

The Tang Monk heard the sound of weapons clashing

唐僧听到了兵器碰撞的声音。

" I hope they rescue me," said the monk

“希望他们能救我出去，”和尚说。

A young woman entered the room

一个年轻女子走进了房间。

" Who are you?" asked the Tang Monk

“你是谁？”唐僧问。

" I'm a prisoner here," said the woman

“我是这里的囚犯，”那女子说。

" That monster kidnapped me thirteen years ago and won't let me leave. Will you help me?"

“那个妖怪十三年前把我抓来，不让我离开。你能帮我吗？”

" I wish I could help you," said the Tang Monk

“我真希望能帮你，”唐僧说。

He showed the young woman his ropes

他给那女子看了看绑着他的绳子。

" I can help you get free," said the young woman." If I do, will you deliver a letter to my parents?"

“我可以帮你挣脱，”那女子说，“如果我帮了你，你能帮我送封信给我父母吗？”

" Of course," said the monk." Who are your parents?"

“当然，”和尚说，“你的父母是谁？”

" They're the king and queen of the Precious Image Kingdom," said the young woman

“他们是宝象国的国王和王后，”那女子说。

" My name is Princess Hundredflowers."

“我叫百花公主。”

Bajie and Wu Jing were still fighting the monster when the princess ran outside

公主跑出去的时候，八戒和沙僧还在和妖怪打斗。

" Monster!" she cried." I must ask you a favor."

“大王！”她喊道，“我有个请求。”

Right away, the monster stopped fighting and turned to the princess

妖怪立刻停下了战斗，转向公主。

" What can I do for you, my sweet?" asked the monster

“亲爱的，有什么我能为你做的？”妖怪问。

" There's a monk inside," said the princess." It makes me so sad to see him tied up. Won't you let him go?"

“里面有个和尚，”公主说，“看到他被绑着，我很伤心。你能放了他吗？”

The monster hesitated

" That monk isn't an ordinary monk. He's the..."

Princess Hundredflowers pretended to cry

The monster held up his hands

妖怪举起了双手。

" Okay, okay, sweetie. You know I only want you to be happy. The monk may go."

“好吧好吧，宝贝。你知道我只想让你开心。那和尚可以走了。”

The monster followed the princess back inside

妖怪跟着公主走了回去。

Bajie and Wu Jing looked at each other in confusion

八戒和沙僧困惑地对视了一眼。

" The monster is going to free him?" mumbled Bajie

“妖怪要放了他？”八戒嘟囔道。

A moment later, the Tang Monk came out

片刻之后，唐僧走了出来。

" There's something we must do," he said quietly to his companions

“我们有件事必须去做，”他悄声对徒弟们说。

Later that day, the travelers reached the palace of the Precious Image Kingdom

那天晚些时候，一行人到达了宝象国的王宫。

The queen was reading the letter from her daughter

王后正在读女儿的信。

Tears were in her eyes

她眼里含着泪水。

" Our poor daughter," said the queen." She's been a prisoner all this time."

“我们可怜的女儿，”王后说，“她一直是个囚犯。”

The king stood up, his eyes blazing with anger

国王站了起来，眼中怒火熊熊。

He called to his general, who was standing nearby

他叫来了站在旁边的将军。

" Gather your troops," said the king." I want my daughter back. And I want that monster destroyed."

“集合你的军队，”国王说，“我要把女儿带回来，还要消灭那个妖怪。”

" Forgive me, your majesty," said the general." But we are just men. How can we defeat such a powerful monster?"

“恕臣直言，陛下，”将军说，“我们只是凡人，怎么打得过那么厉害的妖怪？”

" My two companions are powerful spirits, your majesty," the Tang Monk spoke up." I'm sure they can rescue your daughter."

“陛下，我的两个徒弟是厉害的神灵，”唐僧说道，“我相信他们能救出公主。”

Soon, Bajie and Wu Jing were back at the pagoda

很快，八戒和沙僧回到了那座宝塔。

The pig swung his rake

猪八戒挥起了钉耙。

Crash!

The door exploded

门被炸开了。

" Get out here, you rotten monster!" he shouted

“你这臭妖怪，给我出来！”他大喊。

The monster ran outside

妖怪跑了出来。

" You brutes!" he yelled." I let the monk go free. Why did you smash my door down?"

“你们这些蛮人！”他喊道，“我放了和尚，你们为什么还砸我的门？”

" We're here for the princess," said Wu Jing." The king of the Precious Image Kingdom sent us."

“我们是来接公主的，”沙僧说，“宝象国国王派我们来的。”

" You can't take the princess away," said the monster." We are in love."

“你们不能带走公主，”妖怪说，“我们相爱了。”

Bajie and Wu Jing attacked

八戒和沙僧发起了进攻。

the monster blocked their weapons

They fought for over an hour

Finally, Bajie, tired from fighting, turned and ran

Wu Jing was furious

" Bajie!" he shouted." Where are you?"

The monster knocked out Wu Jing and tied him up

He dragged Wu Jing into the pagoda and locked him in a room

" The king knows that the princess is here," said the monster to himself." But how?"

“国王知道公主在这里，”妖怪自言自语，“但他是怎么知道的？”

He tapped his chin and thought

他敲了敲下巴，想了想。

" Aha!" he said." The princess must have asked that monk to go to the king."

“啊哈！”他说，“一定是公主让那个和尚去找国王的。”

His eyes became dark and angry
