The pig moaned

猪八戒叫苦道。

" I just sat down."

“我刚坐下来。”

He got back up

他又站了起来。

" This journey is too difficult," he said

Then he wandered off

After a few minutes of walking, Bajay looked around

He was all alone

" I'm too tired to look for food," he said to himself

The pig lay down behind some bushes

Soon, he was snoring loudly

Wujing got up and headed down the road

" Yummy noodles," said a voice suddenly

" That's Bajay. He did find food and he's not sharing it with us."

“是八戒。他果然找到吃的了，却不跟我们分享。”

Meanwhile, the Tang Monk became bored

He stood up to stretch his legs

He looked around

" This is a beautiful forest," he said to himself

The monk walked quietly through the woods, admiring flowers and plants as he went

He went deeper and deeper into the forest

Then, in the midst of all the trees, he saw a pagoda

然后，在树丛之中，他看到了一座宝塔。

" This is a strange place for a pagoda," he thought

" Maybe we can all stay here tonight."

The Tang Monk went to the door of the pagoda and opened it

A monster was sleeping inside

The monster had a purple beard and long, sharp fangs

The Tang Monk tried to walk away, but the monster woke up

唐僧想悄悄走开，但妖怪醒了。

" Who's there?" called the monster

“谁在那儿？”妖怪喊道。

He stood up

他站了起来。

The Tang Monk turned around, shaking with fear

唐僧转过身来，吓得浑身发抖。

" Sorry to wake you," he said

“抱歉吵醒你了，”他说。

The monster came closer and smiled

妖怪走近了，笑了笑。

旁白 neutral

" You're a monk," he said

“你是个和尚，”他说。

旁白 neutral

He licked his lips

他舔了舔嘴唇。

" Yes," said the Tang Monk

“是的，”唐僧说。

旁白 neutral

" I'm from the Tang Empire."

“我来自大唐。”

旁白 neutral

The monster's eyes lit up

妖怪的眼睛亮了起来。

" You're the Tang Monk."

“你就是唐僧。”

旁白 neutral

Meanwhile, Wujing stomped toward Bajay's voice

与此同时，沙僧循着八戒的声音走过去。

He peered behind some bushes and saw the pig fast asleep

他往灌木丛后面一看，发现猪八戒睡得正香。

" May I have more tofu?" asked Bajay

“能再来点豆腐吗？”八戒问。

He was talking in his sleep

他在说梦话。

旁白 neutral

" Yes, please, cook lots more. I will eat it all."

“好的，请多做一些。我全都吃掉。”

Wujing kicked the pig

沙僧踢了猪八戒一脚。

旁白 neutral

" Wake up!"

“醒醒！”

旁白 neutral

Bajay jumped to his feet, wiping drool from the side of his mouth

八戒一下子跳了起来，擦掉嘴角的口水。

" How dare you sleep while we wait for you," said Wujing

“你竟然睡觉让我们等你，”沙僧说。

旁白 neutral

" Now let's go back to Master."

“现在回去找师父吧。”

The pig sighed

猪八戒叹了口气。

With his head hung low, he followed Wujing back to the road

他低着头，跟着沙僧回到路上。

But when they got there, the Tang Monk was gone

但当他们到了那里，唐僧不见了。

" Maybe he went for a walk."

“也许他去散步了。”

He and Bajay wandered through the woods, looking for the monk

他和八戒在林中寻找唐僧。

Soon, they saw the pagoda

They knocked on the door, and the monster answered

他们敲了敲门，妖怪开了门。

" Who are you?" asked the monster

Wujing told the monster who they were

" We're looking for a monk."

“我们在找一个和尚。”

The monster laughed

妖怪笑了。

旁白 neutral

" I have a monk here. I'm going to eat him for dinner."

“我这里有个和尚。我打算晚饭吃了他。”
