Then he swung the bar at the pig's feet

He fell face down in the dirt

He jumped back up

他跳了起来。

" You'll wish you hadn't done that."

Wukong leaped out of the way as the pig's rake slammed down, smashing a boulder

悟空跳开了，猪的钉耙猛地砸下来，砸碎了一块巨石。

The two fought, kicking up dust and rocks

The Tang Monk hid behind his horse

唐僧躲在马后面。

" Surrender now!" Wukong swung his iron bar again

“快投降！”悟空又挥起了铁棒。

" I am Sun Wukong!"

“我是孙悟空！”

" Five hundred years ago, I caused lots of trouble in heaven."

“五百年前，我在天庭大闹了一番。”

" The Jade Emperor's entire army couldn't stop me."

“玉皇大帝的整支军队都拦不住我。”

" I've heard of you," said the pig

“我听说过你，”猪说。

" But you don't seem so powerful to me."

“但你在我看来没那么厉害。”

He lunged at the monkey again

他又向猴子扑去。

Wukong jumped out of the way

悟空跳开了。

" I thought you were being punished," said the pig

“我以为你在受罚呢，”猪说。

He swung his rake again

他又挥起了钉耙。

" Weren't you trapped under a mountain?"

“你不是被压在山下吗？”

" I'm free now," said Wukong

“我现在自由了，”悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" Wukong, I'm going to the west with the Tang Monk to..."

“悟空，我要和唐僧一起去西方……”

" The Tang Monk?" cried the pig

“唐僧？”猪叫道。

旁白 neutral

He dropped his rake

他放下了钉耙。

旁白 neutral

" I'm supposed to go with him, too."

“我也应该跟他一起去的。”

旁白 neutral

" You are?" asked Wukong

“是吗？”悟空问道。

旁白 neutral

" I was sent to Earth as a punishment," said the pig

“我被贬到凡间作为惩罚，”猪说。

旁白 neutral

" My name is Zhu Bajie."

“我叫猪八戒。”

旁白 neutral

" I caused trouble in heaven, too."

“我也在天庭闯过祸。”

旁白 neutral

" Guan Yin said I would be forgiven if I helped protect the Tang Monk."

“观音说如果我帮助保护唐僧，就会得到宽恕。”

Wukong rubbed his chin

悟空摸了摸下巴。

" Okay," he said

“好吧，”他说。

" You can carry the bags."

“你来挑行李。”

Zhu Bajie joined the group, and the three of them continued west

猪八戒加入了队伍，三人继续向西走去。

As they traveled, the pig kept complaining

" These bags are so heavy."

" Do we really need to bring them?"

" Stop complaining," snapped Wukong

" Going to the western paradise is supposed to be difficult."

The pig moaned

" I'm hungry, too."

" When are we going to eat lunch?"

“我们什么时候吃午饭？”

The Tang Monk frowned

唐僧皱起了眉头。

" We just ate breakfast."

“我们刚吃过早饭。”

" How can you be hungry again?"

“你怎么又饿了？”

They went around a bend and saw a large tiger

他们转过一个弯，看到一只大老虎。

Bajie and Wukong quickly pulled out their weapons

八戒和悟空迅速拔出了武器。

" Who are you?" yelled Bajie

“你是谁？”八戒喊道。

旁白 neutral

" What are you doing here?"

“你在这里干什么？”

" My master, the Great King Yellow Wind, is hosting a feast," said the tiger

“我的主人，黄风大王，正在举办宴会，”老虎说。

He looked at the Tang Monk

他看着唐僧。

" I'm gathering people to eat."

“我正在找人来吃。”

旁白 neutral

The Tang Monk's face turned pale, and he fell off his horse

唐僧的脸变得苍白，他从马上摔了下来。

" Don't you dare harm our master," Bajie warned

“你敢伤害我们师父，”八戒警告道。

" He is the Tang Monk."

“他是唐僧。”

旁白 neutral

" He's going to the west to get the true scriptures."

“他要去西天取真经。”

旁白 neutral

" I heard that eating the Tang Monk will make someone live forever."

“我听说吃了唐僧肉可以长生不老。”

The tiger showed his claws

老虎亮出了爪子。

旁白 neutral

Then he lunged at Bajie

然后他向八戒扑去。

The pig hit him with the rake

猪用钉耙打了他。

The tiger tumbled over

老虎翻倒在地。

Wukong ran toward the tiger with his iron bar

悟空拿着铁棒朝老虎跑去。

The tiger dodged the bar and then almost got hit by the rake again

老虎躲开了铁棒，差点又被钉耙打中。

Then, he turned and fled

然后，他转身逃跑了。

Wukong and Bajie ran after the tiger

悟空和八戒追着老虎跑。

For a moment, they lost him

有一会儿，他们追丢了。

Then, they spotted a flash of orange behind some bushes

接着，他们在灌木丛后面看到了一道橙色的光。

" There he is," whispered Bajie

The monkey and pig sneaked up to the bushes

But the tiger wasn't there

Instead, a tiger's skin lay over a rock

" He was so scared, he ran right out of his skin."

He slapped Bajie on the back

" We are great protectors."

The two friends walked back to the road laughing

两个朋友笑着走回了路上。

But suddenly, their laughter stopped

但突然，他们的笑声停了。

" Oh, no!" cried Wukong

“哦，不！”悟空叫道。

" Where is the Tang Monk?"
