" What happened here?" Wukong asked the gibbon

A few more monkeys and apes gathered around Sun Wukong and the gibbon

又有几只猴子和猿聚拢到孙悟空和长臂猿身边。

They looked scared

它们看起来很害怕。

" A demon attacked us," said the gibbon

"一个妖魔袭击了我们，"长臂猿说。

" We tried to fight him, but he was too powerful."

"我们试图反抗，但它太强大了。"

" He stole most of our things and kidnapped many of us."

"它抢走了我们大部分的东西，还掳走了我们许多同伴。"

Wukong was furious

悟空怒火中烧。

" Who is he? Where does he live?"

" He is called the Demon of Chaos," said the gibbon

"它叫混世魔王，"长臂猿说。

" He came from the north."

"它从北方来。"

" Wait here," Wukong ordered

"在这里等着，"悟空命令道。

旁白 neutral

" I will handle the demon."

"我去对付那个妖魔。"

旁白 neutral

" The demon is very powerful," the gibbon warned

"那妖魔非常强大，"长臂猿警告道。

旁白 neutral

" I learned many things from a sage," Wukong replied

"我曾向一位神仙学过许多本领，"悟空答道。

旁白 neutral

" I am now as powerful as a god."

"我如今已有神仙一般的法力。"

旁白 neutral

" I'm not afraid of any demon."

"我不惧任何妖魔。"

旁白 neutral

" I'll be back soon."

"我很快就回来。"

旁白 neutral

He leaped into the air and flew north

他纵身一跃，腾空向北飞去。

His subjects stared in amazement

众猴臣望着他，惊叹不已。

" Our king can fly," said the gibbon

"我们大王会飞！"长臂猿说道。

Wukong soon spotted a gloomy mountain

悟空不久便发现了一座阴森的山岭。

Dark clouds hung over it

山上乌云笼罩。

" That looks like a demon's home," he thought

"那地方看着像是妖魔的巢穴，"他心想。

Wukong landed on the mountain and found a cave

悟空落在山上，发现了一处洞穴。

Two guards stood at the entrance practicing sword fighting

两名守卫站在洞口，正在练习刀法。

" I'm king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain," yelled Wukong

"我乃花果山之王！"悟空大喝道。

" The Demon of Chaos attacked my subjects."

"混世魔王袭击了我的臣民。"

旁白 neutral

" I want revenge."

"我要讨回公道！"

旁白 neutral

The guards shrieked and ran into the cave

守卫惊叫一声，跑回洞中。

旁白 neutral

The Demon of Chaos was sitting at a table, eating a meal

混世魔王正坐在桌旁用餐。

旁白 neutral

" Disaster!" one guard cried

"大事不好！"一个守卫喊道。

旁白 neutral

" What sort of disaster?" asked the demon

"什么大事？"妖魔问道。

旁白 neutral

" There's a monkey outside!" said the other guard

"外面来了一只猴子！"另一个守卫说。

旁白 neutral

" He said he's king of the Fruit and Flower Mountain."

"他说他是花果山的大王。"

旁白 neutral

" You attacked his subjects."

"你袭击了他的臣民。"

旁白 neutral

" Now he wants revenge!"

"他现在要来讨仇！"

旁白 neutral

" The monkeys and apes spoke of a king," said the demon

"那群猴子猿猴确实有个大王，"妖魔说。

旁白 neutral

" He left to find a sage."

"他曾离山拜师学艺。"

旁白 neutral

" I guess he returned."

"想必是学成归来了。"

旁白 neutral

The demon stood up

妖魔站起身来。

旁白 neutral

" Does the monkey have any weapons?"

"那猴子可有兵器？"

旁白 neutral

" No," said one guard

"没有，"一个守卫答道。

旁白 neutral

" Then get me my armor and my sword," said the demon

"那去取我的铠甲和宝剑来，"妖魔说。

旁白 neutral

A moment later, the Demon of Chaos walked outside

片刻之后，混世魔王大步走到洞外。

He looked at Wukong and laughed

他打量着悟空，放声大笑。

旁白 neutral

" You're just a little monkey," he said

"你不过是只小猴子，"他说。

旁白 neutral

Wukong looked up at the huge demon

悟空仰望着这个庞大的妖魔。

旁白 neutral

" I am small," he said," but I am more powerful than you can imagine."

"我身形虽小，"他说，"但我的法力远超你的想象。"

旁白 neutral

" I'm not afraid of you," said the demon

"我才不怕你，"妖魔说。

旁白 neutral

He swung his sword

他挥剑劈来。

旁白 neutral

Wukong jumped out of the way and then flew at the demon

悟空一个闪身躲开，随即飞身扑向妖魔。

旁白 neutral

" Ow!" Wukong hit the demon on the nose

"哎哟！"悟空一拳打在妖魔的鼻子上。

旁白 neutral

Cried the demon

妖魔大叫一声。

旁白 neutral

Wukong pulled out a handful of his own hair and blew on it

悟空从身上薅下一把毫毛，向空中吹去。

旁白 neutral

Each strand of hair turned into a fake monkey, exactly like Wukong

每根毫毛都变成了一只假猴，与悟空一模一样。

旁白 neutral

All at once, the fake monkeys attacked the demon, punching and kicking him

顿时，这些假猴子一齐向妖魔扑去，拳打脚踢。

旁白 neutral

" What? What's going on?" cried the demon, trying to fight all the fake monkeys

"什么？这是怎么回事？"妖魔大叫，拼命应对四面八方涌来的假猴子。

旁白 neutral

" It's a magic spell," said Wukong

"这是一门法术，"悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" It's called Body Beyond the Body."

"名叫身外身法。"

旁白 neutral

The Demon of Chaos was soon destroyed

混世魔王就此被消灭。

Wukong chased away the guards and then went into the cave

悟空将守卫驱散，随即走进洞中。

旁白 neutral

He found all the monkeys and apes that the demon had kidnapped

他找到了所有被妖魔掳走的猴子和猿猴。

When they saw him, they cheered

它们一见到他，便欢呼雀跃。

旁白 neutral

" Your Majesty!" cried the monkeys and apes

"大王！"猴子猿猴们齐声喊道。

旁白 neutral

" You came back!"

"您回来了！"

旁白 neutral

Wukong smiled

悟空微微一笑。

旁白 neutral

" I will take you home."

"我带你们回家。"

旁白 neutral

The next morning, Wukong woke up early

第二天清晨，悟空早早醒来。

" Other demons might attack us," he thought

"其他妖魔可能还会来犯，"他想。

旁白 neutral

" We must be ready to protect ourselves."

"我们必须做好自卫的准备。"

Wukong spent the day teaching his subjects how to fight

悟空整整花了一天时间，教导臣民们习武。

They practiced with swords and spears

大家操练刀枪，苦练不辍。

旁白 neutral

Before long, the monkeys and apes were a fierce army

不多时，这群猴子猿猴便成了一支威武的军队。

" No demon will dare bother us now," said the gibbon

"如今再也没有妖魔敢来骚扰我们了，"长臂猿说。

旁白 neutral

" No," said Wukong

"是啊，"悟空说。

旁白 neutral

" There's just one problem, though."

"不过还有一个问题。"

旁白 neutral

" What's that?" asked the gibbon

"什么问题？"长臂猿问。

旁白 neutral

" I can't use any of the weapons we have," said Wukong

"我们现有的兵器，我一件都用不上，"悟空说。
