When Mowgli woke the next day, he saw Rann, the hawk

Bagheera gave Mowgli a puzzled look

" I'm going to tell you a story about a wise elephant," Mowgli said

Bagheera looked startled, but he gave Mowgli a nod

The elephant swung his trunk to look at him

" Buldeo told that story one night," Mowgli said
