He grabbed a wormhole, pulling the whole group through it

Perda landed on her feet and then looked around

" Zap!" Gliss said, snapping her fingers. She and Darb disappeared

For a second Perda thought he was going to grab her hand

" Zap!" she said, snapping her fingers to create magical friction

She landed on the street in front of the lab

A second later Zann appeared nearby with a splash

" Drat," he muttered, stepping out of a puddle of purple rainwater

Zann clapped his hands and yelled," Shield!" just in time

to avoid getting roasted.

" Sorry you couldn't come with us, Zing," Perda said with a laugh

watching the dragon chase his master around the room.

" Don't take it out on Zann, though — it wasn't his fault."

" You wouldn't have liked Mistafar anyway, little buddy,"

Darb added with a grin. "It's very wet."

Zing snorted a plume of smoke in their direction

and then returned to chasing Zann.

distracted by everything in the lab.

She always found it fascinating to see what Zann's parents

and the other researchers were doing.

There were several adults in the lab

several ancient-looking items.

" The most powerful ones were moved to the palace, where

Perda spun to see Zing speeding across the room, shooting flames

that the little dragon was flying too fast to stop.

He was heading straight toward an old, dusty book lying open on a table

Flames were pouring from his snout
