Searching high and low, the girls finally found some stale bread and butter, which they washed down with cold tea

女孩们四处翻找，最终找到了一些不新鲜的面包和黄油，就着冷茶咽了下去。

" Let's go back to relaxing then," said Jo, patting her still growling stomach
